How to Play:
Set up the game board, print or open your rules sheet, and gather players (2-4 recommended).
You’ll need one die and something to serve as your game pieces. You might use toys, candy, or you could even crumple up different colored pieces of paper. Just make sure each person can tell the difference between each game piece.
You’ll also need a piece of paper and pen, crayon, or pencil to keep a tally of points for each player.
Each player chooses where they start their game piece on the board.
Decide who goes first. Play then proceeds clockwise.
On your turn:
Roll the die
Move your piece forward the number of spaces shown on the die
Perform the animal action shown on the space you land on
If you complete the action successfully, you earn the points associated with that space
If a player cannot or chooses not to perform an action, they do not earn points for that turn.
The game ends when any player reaches 20 points.
Additional Rules:
If a player lands on an already occupied space, they must perform the action twice to earn points
For younger children, consider simplifying actions or allowing them to choose their favorite animal action
Remember, the main goal is to have fun while improving motor skills and body awareness! This printable game combines fun with therapeutic benefits, making it an excellent resource for both occupational and physical therapy sessions, as well as classroom or at-home activities for children.
