Animal Parade Memory Game

Get ready to move, play, and remember. The Animal Parade Memory Game helps children build motor planning, attention, and sequencing skills through simple animal-inspired movements.

How It Works

Print the cards and cut them apart. Place the cards in a pile or face down on the floor.

Start by choosing 1 animal card and doing the movement shown.

Then add a new card and repeat the whole sequence in order.

Keep building the parade one animal at a time.

For example:

  • Hop like a bunny

  • Hop like a bunny, then crawl like a bear

  • Hop like a bunny, crawl like a bear, then balance like a flamingo

Children can watch, remember, and move through the growing sequence as they play.

Ways to Play

For an easier version, leave the cards visible in order so your child can follow along.

For more of a challenge, show the cards first and then have your child try to remember the sequence.

You can also keep the parade short with 2–3 cards or make it longer as your child is ready.

Or with a group of kids, stand in a line and assign them each an animal card and parade around the space.
