Chalk Ice Painting

Here's a great way to use the small pieces of sidewalk chalk you have leftover from your amazing obstacle course: create Chalk Ice to use over the next few days!

Ice painting is a great process art activity since kids can see the colors melting together. They will also love helping to make these chalk paintsicles! This activity is great for following directions and fine motor grasping skills and sensory integration.

You’ll need:

• Bits of sidewalk chalk

• Cornstarch

• Water

• Ice cube or popsicle trays

• Cheese grater

• Popsicle sticks or craft sticks
