Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy

November 2020

To our patients and their families,

It is the utmost importance of Tilton's Therapy for Tots and Tilton’s Therapy to protect and enhance the health and well-being of our patients.  We understand the nature of the impact of the spread of this virus and are aware of the confirmed cases within our community.  It has always been the mission of Tilton’s Therapy for Tots and Tilton’s Therapy to provide quality skilled therapeutic interventions within the natural environment, as we know this is where patients can find the best form of healing with the least amount of risk factor.  This continues to rein true during this season as well.

As a team, we continue to communicate with our therapists to ensure that they are educated in the facts about the virus and taking precautionary measures to protect your family, themselves and their families.  We have researched the recommendations of the CDC and SNHD for the most up-to-date information available. Our therapists are excellent about sanitation of their materials, their vehicles and their hands to reduce the spread of any illness, as they are all experienced healthcare professionals, as well as wearing face coverings.  During this time, we are open to making strides to make you feel more comfortable with our therapists entering your home, including using the toys/ materials within the home, additional hand washing, sanitizing our steering-wheels, and ensuring appropriate ventilation of our vehicles.

The recommendations now include reducing contact and we are at an advantage that our therapists are able to provide individualized therapy within the clients natural environment.  Tilton’s Therapy for Tots/ Tilton’s Therapy’s plan is  to continue servicing you/ your children to prevent any regression during this time, as we are at a far lower risk than most facilities. Our therapists will not be working if they are exposed to the virus or have any of the symptoms including cough, fever, shortness of breath, nausea/ vomiting, diarrhea, loss of smell or taste, etc.

What we would appreciate from you is that you cancel services if you, your spouse, your children or anyone else in your home exhibit any of these symptoms.  We will not be upholding our cancellation policy during this time and request your continued open communication with your therapy team.

Additionally, please let us know what we can do to make you most comfortable during this time, as we are open for suggestions.
