Ribbon Ring Craft

Kids can play, dance, and move after making this easy and fun ribbon ring craft (bonus: no mess!)

You’ll only need a few supplies:

  • A ring — you can use things like the top of a mason jar with the lid removed, a plastic bracelet, or even cut out the center of a paper plate.

  • Tissue paper, plastic tablecloths, or actual ribbon.

  • Scissors.

Start by cutting strips of “ribbon,” until you have 5-10 pieces.

Fold each “ribbon” in half, put the loop into your ring, and pull the tails through to the other side to make a knot.

Continue adding knots of ribbon until you have added all you want.

That’s it! Kids can run and let the ribbons dance behind them, create shapes with the ribbons, or anything they are drawn to do.
