W-Sitting Activities & Correction

By strengthening the core musculature, children are less likely to revert to W sitting as a natural compensatory strategy.  They will have the core strength, trunk stability, and proximal control to assist their body in maintaining position while they play, write, eat, color, read, and much more!  Proximal stability is needed before any distal dexterity tasks can be adequately mastered.
