Therapist Feature: Northern NV Team

This month, we are highlighting our amazing therapy team in Northern Nevada! In August, we began servicing the communities in this region, and we’re getting new patients started with our talented and caring professionals.

Whether your child is looking for occupational, physical, or speech therapy, Tilton’s Therapy for Tots is ready to help! We are excited to provide service in areas with cooler weather than our original region in Southern Nevada. Our team looks forward to the growth we will find in this new area and most importantly, all of the patients who are in need of therapeutic intervention we will be able to help reach their goals and maximize their potential for independence.

Occupational Therapy: Megan Tabano, MSOT, OTR/L

Megan joins our team after receiving a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Touro University, Nevada. With experience in both the pediatric outpatient settings as well as adults in acute care, Megan brings her passion for occupational therapy to the community where she grew up. As a native to Northern Nevada, Megan is originally from Reno and supports her alumnae chapter at UNR.

Emily earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UNLV and has been passionate about providing pediatric home-based therapy for many years. The opportunity to adapt therapeutic activities based on each individual family or child’s needs, goals, and current ability is the aspect that Emily appreciates most about her profession as a physical therapist.
