Tower Template Cube

Get some fun ideas to challenge kids to follow along and create something new! It’s easy to play and easy for kids to understand how it works. This activity is designed to help children develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving abilities through building towers.

You’ll Need:

Instructions:

  1. Print and cut out the cube template. Tape or glue the tabs to complete the cube for the game.

  2. Set out the building blocks in front of anyone playing the game.

  3. Each child takes turns rolling the dice cube to see what tower they will need to create.

  4. Encourage the child to carefully stack the blocks on top of each other, paying attention to the shape and size of each block and how it matches the picture on the cube.

  5. Once the tower is complete, talk to kids about the tower's height, shape, and color. Ask them questions such as "What do you like about your tower?" and "How did you decide which blocks to use?"

  6. If they are interested, challenge them to build a taller or more complex tower.
