Team Feature: Laura Howard, SLP
For the month of May, our featured Tilton’s team member is Laura Howard, Speech-Language Pathologist!
Laura Howard has been a part of the Tilton’s team since 2021 and we are so grateful she chooses to employ her skill and expertise for our patients in Southern Nevada. Laura received her education first from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a Bachelor of Spanish and Communication Disorders. Continuing her education, Laura then studied at San Diego State University, earning a Master’s in Speech Pathology with a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist certification. For over 20 years, Laura has worked in this industry or a similar position.
Throughout the course of her career, Laura has experience in many different settings. She has worked in public schools, charter schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, as well as working in private practice and telehealth.
Originally, Laura is from Minnesota but now lives in Las Vegas, NV. At this point, she has been a resident of Las Vegas for over 15 years. Laura is passionate about many things, but she is particularly passionate about working with people, which lends itself perfectly to her career in Speech-Language Pathology. In her spare time, Laura enjoys arts and crafts, playing sports, or spending time with her dog.
