Featured Activity of the Month
Beach Ball Game
Work on gross motor skills with this easy and fun game! This activity focuses on developing hand eye coordination, balance, gross motor skills. The game can be graded to be more or less challenging depending on ability.
Colorful Cream Sensory Bin
Use simple household ingredients for fun sensory play! This activity involves sensory motor integration, fine motor skills, as well as expressive and receptive language skills. Engage in imaginative play through drawing pictures or playing your own version of Pictionary!
Heat Stroke
The hot summer months are even hotter in some areas of the US this year, particularly in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest. Kids can easily be affected by the heat in a negative way and suffer heat stroke simply by doing what they normally would do, like playing outside with friends.

This month we are featuring a new member of the Tilton’s Therapy team, Alyssa Carreon, Physical Therapist!
Alyssa pronounces her name “Uh-l-eye-ssa” and not the usual “Uh-lih-ssa.” She was born and raised in the beautiful biggest little city of Reno. At the University of Nevada, Reno, Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Science in 2018. She continued on to achieve her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2022.

2022 was a fabulous year for Tilton's Therapy and I want to take a moment to extend my gratitude and acknowledge some of our achievements over the past year. We would not be where we are without the trust and loyalty from our clients and families, and the dedication from our therapists and administrative team who embody our mission and core values each and every day.
Team Feature: Francisco Segura, PT
This month, we are featuring one of our excellent Physical Therapists, Francisco Segura.
Francisco earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Cal State LA in 2011 before continuing his education, achieving a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro University in 2014. When he began working in this profession, Francisco never thought he would be interested in working with children.
